 Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft Inc. and 19 times world richest man said "Intellectual property is like a banana in the test of time". He was right when he said such. As a business owner you don't have to stick to one form of formula all the time. You have to be innovative to enhance longevity of your business and franchise. The reason why some company fold and get bankrupt is due to the absence of innovation. You have to be innovative with your product and brand. Let's take a good look at the Coca-Cola company; a company that is over hundred years is still in the market as largest beverage company in the world in terms of sales. How did they do that? This is because they keep innovating! They keep changing their bottles, slogan(from "taste the feeling" to "Real Wonder"), improving in the taste of her products. Innovative companies such as Coca-Cola, Apple Inc, Microsoft Inc and can able to stand the test of time due to INNOVATION. Innovation breeds longevity and sustainability.
