National Planning Commission's Access to Entrepreneurship Finance

Advise to the youth on the National Planning Commission's Access to Entrepreneurship Finance

1. Creativity and innovation are your greatest keys. Work outside the box, the old generation created the box, it has not worked for us. Even for those things that seem to work, don't be afraid to break them, study their functionality and improve them.

2. Create economic cobwebs that capture money and circulate it within that cobweb. The only times money must get out of your economic cobwebs is to attract more money. Buy and sell to each other. ( This works, the Malawian Asian/Indian community uses this. Their retailers buy from their wholesalers, then use their transporters, go to their Sports Clubs, go to Sun and Sand not Bowadzulu, etc. Do you know how many billions of kwacha the Chinese send back home on a weekly basis. Here we are complaining of Forex shortages, my amputated foot!)

3. Be risk-takers. I don't know why we have not all adopted and polished this mentality from our own Yao/Moslem compatriots (sawopa pofera). If you take after us, being cowards, wanting change but still staying in the comfort zone, next year you will still be complaining that you are not getting assistance, from who, we your parents that spent 34 years as employees? We don't know Entrepreneurship, we are not risk takers. Plunge into the great sea of doubt, there are storms, there are sharks but the only way to get to your dreams is to take the risk and swim towards your dreams. Otherwise all your clothes will wear out while you are still looking for a none existing job.

4. It is time you stopped blaming slavery and colonialism, your parents got back this country over fifty years ago and messed it. Don't join them in their complaining. I want to assure you nobody I repeat nobody will pay you reparations for slavery and colonialism. Get to work. Learn from the mzungu at least one big lesson, don't be  afraid to take risks .If you got to climb Mt Mulanje to succeed, get ahead, do it.

5. Learn to from the Chinese, they have never been hindered by copyright laws, they copy right. In other words they adapt technologies to their advantage. I thought among you are engineering degree holders and technical and technology trained people? Let us create our own technologies. We , your parents have not been good at this. We have actually arrested some of you for creating your own broadcasting systems and denied you permission to test fly your helicopters.

6. Be frugal. You guys have a very big problem, you have adopted a consumer culture that is contributing to your lack of progress. You rush for toys that consume your hard earned money, you eat at fast food places and enrich those American franchises, your children are obese and will present you with a lot of health problems. The owner of Google still wears T-Shirts and you rush for designer clothes. A simple watch still tells time my friends. Most global billionaires are Jews, why, they are frugal.

7. Subscribe to the philosophy; " Success is sweat equity." Develop grit.

I wish I could have popped around but I am recuperating from a leg amputation. I am already thinking of other ways of living and thriving on one leg. This must have been my eighth point. Never allow the punctures of life pin you down. Mend the puncture without delay and move on. Failure my friends is not falling down, you will fall many times, entrepreneurs have many scars, but always remember," Failure is not falling down, remaining on the ground once fallen is." Remember too that you will make many mistakes, making a mistake is not a mistake, not learning from the mistake is the mistake.

Have a good day.
